Go Ninja Go Ninja GO!
This mornings warm-up sketch, kick-ass happy old school memories!Sadly I could not make it down to the NY Comic con this weekend, despite planning it since November. A whole mess of circumstances fell at the same time and prevented me from making it.
The best way to deal with it? Read blogs to keep up on you awesome friends at the con, and draw of course!
A couple of my homies got a mention over on the ArtOrder blog of John Schindehette - Check it!

Yehaw! Star Wars!
I am very pleased that I can finally show this piece :)Another NDA finally crumbles! Today my first book work was released in the Star Wars Roleplaying Game book "Scum and Villainy". Any gameplayers out there can pick it up via the usual book retail channels, next month will see the release of more of my work in the 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons book "Demon Queen's Enclave", also from Wizards of the Coast, and in January "Scion: Ragnarok" will be released by White Wolf Publishing.
Again I would like to thank Ryan Sansaver who gave me this assignment as a last minute trial by fire. I'm thrilled that I got to do it!

Tired!
A Chimera Soldier, they strike me as having a somewhat ordered and clean approach to their design, industrial, but not in a cobbled-together or heavily asymmetrical way.
A environment design of a gaunlet like area. The main idea is the cool temparature of the environment and Chimera architecture being put against the warm architecture of the ruins of the human buildings and the Chimera machines occupying them. A really busy week! On top of the day job this week I had to complete a concept art test for Insomniac Games (hope that they like them!) It was a crazy push to get as done as possible, but was also very very fun. I think I will continue working on these for the ol' portfolio, are there certain ones that you guys think are good candidates for that?

Been a spell.
Haven't posted in some serious ages! I Should be kicking back into the habit now. Just finshed up relocating to Providence and a couple of sweet jobs. While much of what I have been doing is under NDA, I will be finding and making some new junk to post up in this piece.
Cheers!

NYCC

Got home from New York ComicCon a few days ago, it was a total blast. I have to thank everyone for making it a super satisfying and awesome experience. The people really are what made it, so here are some shout-outs to Rob Rey, Ripper, the sculptors from NECA, Arkady Roytman, Dan Dos Santos, Zelda Devon and Kurt Huggins of Teetering Bulb, Christopher Moeller, Erik Jones, and a big thanks to Ryan Sansaver.
Thank you as always to Sheri for being my faithful partner in crime and to her excellent parents for housing me once again.
Also, Guillermo del Toro is without a doubt the man.
Also, I have a few sketches and doodles here and will be starting a super exciting new project!
Ok, that's all.
